Johnson Electric is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This full-time, on-site position in Plymouth, Michigan, offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance and product evaluation within an electronics manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Support core quality assurance processes and assist in testing and analyzing products.
- Learn to interpret purchase and manufactured product prints.
- Process quality notifications for customers and learn to evaluate and measure defects.
- Ensure high standards of quality are maintained across operations.
- Complete an assigned project and present findings to the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
- A self-motivated, enthusiastic approach with a strong desire to learn.
- Adaptability and an interest in exploring different functional areas.
