Supply Chain Intern

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid Supply Chain internship for the Fall 2026 term. Based in Plymouth, Michigan, this role provides support to the Supply Chain Services (SCS) department under the direct supervision of the SCS manager. The position is on-site and involves working within an office setting with occasional exposure to plant environments.

What you'll do#

• Assist the SCS staff across various departmental functions.
• Perform supplier and commodity analysis to support strategy proposals.
• Support Project Procurement and Commodity Lead activities, including supplier follow-up on material delivery dates for launching projects.
• Conduct ERP reporting and analysis.
• Review standard SCS procedures and reporting across plants to identify opportunities for cross-region standardization.
• Evaluate departmental systems, processes, and training materials to recommend improvements.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• Preference for students who have completed at least two years of study and a minimum of two supply chain-specific courses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work as a self-starter with effective communication skills.

• Compensation: $20-$22/hr.
