About the role#
The Investment Analyst Intern supports the investment team in managing corporate, insurance, pension, 401k, and treasury portfolios. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Perform monthly and quarterly performance reporting and prepare related project updates.
- Conduct due diligence monitoring, evaluation, and analysis of current investment strategies.
- Assist with the evaluation of potential new investments.
- Handle portfolio rebalancing and cash forecasting.
- Perform periodic reconciliations between custody, internal systems, and external managers.
- Coordinate meetings with the investment firm management team and attend third-party asset manager meetings.
- Assist with the annual audit and prepare minutes for committee meetings.
- Maintain SharePoint and the investment manager filing system.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or other degree-seeking program in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team while managing changing priorities and deadlines.
