About the role#
The Program Associate supports the Diller Teen Fellows program, an experiential leadership initiative for 11th graders. This part-time position involves administrative support, event logistics, and direct supervision of participants. You will work closely with the Program Coordinator to ensure the smooth execution of workshops and retreats. This role requires travel for a three-week summer seminar in Israel.
What you'll do#
- Staff Sunday meetings and weekend retreats to assist with logistics and teen supervision.
- Prepare materials, supplies, and speakers for program meetings.
- Supervise teens during programs and on trips.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Program Coordinator.
- Assist with recruitment logistics and interviews.
- Manage data entry and reporting.
What you'll need#
- 1-3 years of experience working with teens.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and varying hours.
- A valid California driver's license.
- A U.S. passport or appropriate visa for international travel.
- Background check and fingerprinting are required for this role.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Communications, Human Resources, or International Relations.
