The Policy and Compliance Intern will support organizational efficiency by centralizing and standardizing internal documentation. This role involves working closely with department heads to audit existing practices and developing a cohesive manual to guide staff. You will receive one-on-one training and ongoing support from the Compliance Manager.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with department heads and staff to identify all existing organizational policies and procedures.
- Create a detailed index of these documents, categorized by department and function.
- Analyze and consolidate redundant or overlapping policies to streamline practices.
- Develop a clear, accessible, and easy-to-navigate policy and procedure manual.
- Establish a systematic review cycle to ensure policies remain current and effective.
- Assist in training staff on the new manual and provide ongoing support as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an academic program, specifically in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Pre-Law, Compliance Management, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, volunteers, and community members.
- High level of self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail.
- Must pass all required background checks.

- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling (ongoing).
- Compensation: Unpaid.
- Requirement: Completion of the primary COVID-19 vaccination series per CDC guidance is required prior to starting.
