About the role#
We are looking for interns to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience in the aviation and aerospace industry. You will work on-site in either Long Beach, California, or Greensboro, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
You will support one or more of our core engineering organizations. Depending on your placement, your work will contribute to areas such as:
- Manufacturing
- Structures
- Propulsion
- Customer Support
- Systems Engineering
- Flight Science and Aerodynamics
What you'll need#
We are looking for students who have strong analytical abilities and a focus on aerospace or mechanical engineering. You must be a current Bachelor's or Master's student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Technical requirements vary by department:
- Systems Engineering: Python and MATLAB skills.
- Structures and Propulsion: CAD software proficiency and MATLAB.
- Flight Science: Knowledge of Aerodynamics.
- Manufacturing: Python and Excel VBA.
- Customer Support: Experience with Teamcenter and NX.

- Duration: 12 weeks.
- Locations: Long Beach, CA or Greensboro, NC.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25-$40/hr.
