About the role#
The Jefferson County Educational Service Center Virtual Learning Academy is hiring an Online Learning Intern. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in education and educational technology. The position supports administrative and instructional tasks for the 2025-2026 school year.
What you'll do#
- Update Microsoft Teams calendars and shared spreadsheets.
- Build and support interactive educational content.
- Input questions and answers into the Learning Management System.
- Prepare paper-based learning materials by printing, copying, and binding.
- Support and co-host virtual webinars.
- Organize digital and physical files.
- Draft professional emails for students, parents, and staff.
- Assist with setup and teardown for conferences and trade shows.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a BCI/FBI background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and video conferencing tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs.
