About the role#
The Jefferson County Educational Service Center Virtual Learning Academy is hiring a CME Intern to support the OhioRISE program. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Steubenville, Ohio. You will assist the team with outreach and administrative tasks while learning about care coordination.
What you'll do#
- Call youth and families to introduce the OhioRISE Care Management Entity and explain the program.
- Obtain verbal consent for participation in care coordination.
- Document all outreach attempts and communications following Medicaid and organizational standards.
- Help Care Coordinators and supervisors manage initial program activities.
- Review documentation to ensure it is complete and accurate.
- Maintain member confidentiality.
- Complete special projects assigned by leadership.
- Follow all organizational policies.
What you'll need#

- Current enrollment or background in Health Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration.
