About the role#
As a Security Analyst Student at J.D. Irving, Limited, you will work within the JDI IT team. You will support various lines of business by analyzing requests and implementing technical solutions. This position offers practical experience with security tools and activities in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Manage IT security tools and daily security activities.
- Conduct phishing tests and perform data loss investigations.
- Handle security incidents as they arise.
- Create security analytics and reports.
- Process security access requests.
- Contribute to projects and changes that support multiple business lines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Good academic standing.
- Prior hands-on experience with IT security.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude toward technology.
- High energy and a willingness to take on new challenges.
