Job Description: As a Human Resource Governance Student, you will support the Human Resources Governance team in ensuring compliance with legislation, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements. You’ll gain hands-on experience in policy development, data analysis, and program support while contributing to initiatives that strengthen Irving Oil’s HR practices and employee experience. The HR Governance team, based at our Home Office, plays a critical role in maintaining compliance across the organization. They provide guidance on HR policies, monitor adherence to labor laws, and support programs that promote a safe and inclusive workplace. The team collaborates with HR business partners, legal, and other departments to ensure governance alignment and to enhance the company’s overall HR framework.
