About the role#
Iron Mountain is seeking a Logistics Engineer Intern to join the Warehouse and Logistics team. This role focuses on supporting solution design for new customer implementations and driving operational excellence through data-driven process improvements across our facilities.
What you'll do#
- Support solution design and engineering activities by reviewing data to translate operational criteria into recommendations.
- Collaborate with the U.S. Operations and Solution Design teams to build automation into current design processes.
- Implement AI recommendations that optimize calculations for warehouse activities.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement Programs to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Analyze facility layouts and improve material flow to increase site productivity.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Senior graduating in May 2028 or December 2028.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
- High level of comfort with analytics and optimization tools.
- Proven ability in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States for the full duration of the internship.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 2, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: Remote.
- Locations: Boston, Massachusetts; Wind Gap, Pennsylvania; or Atlanta, Georgia.
- Compensation: $28 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
