About the role#
Iris is seeking a Copywriter Intern for the Summer 2026 program. This role is designed for those looking to develop creative skills in a professional agency environment. You will be fully immersed in daily operations, working alongside the creative team to develop concepts and execute copy for world-class clients across traditional and digital platforms.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative copy for various clients.
- Produce content for diverse projects, ranging from ultra-luxury sports cars to new hotel campaigns.
- Write in both short-form, including headlines, teasers, and social media content, and long-form, such as scripts and collateral.
- Participate in day-to-day agency life, including attending meetings and contributing to active client projects.
- Present your work to agency leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field.
- A portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking and writing skills.
- An interest in writing stand-out social media content.
- The ability to write engaging, persuasive copy that reflects key audience insights.
- Strong proofreading skills with a focus on spelling and grammar.
- A self-motivated and decisive approach to work.
Location & details#
- Locations: Atlanta, Georgia, or New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2026 (June 15 to August 14).
- Schedule: 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) on-site.
- Compensation: $18 per hour.
- Note: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
