Art Director Summer Intern

About the role#

Iris is seeking an Art Director Intern for the Summer 2026 program. This is a hands-on role where you will work alongside creative teams to develop visual concepts for high-profile clients. You will be fully immersed in agency life, participating in daily operations and collaborating on projects across various media platforms.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute campaigns for diverse clients.
• Contribute to creative projects for major brands, ranging from luxury automotive to travel.
• Participate in agency meetings and day-to-day operations.
• Present your work to company leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
• Help execute creative ideas across digital, print, and other media formats.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in art, graphic design, or a related field.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong design capabilities and a clear creative point of view.
• Experience or foundational knowledge in digital design, motion, and print media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• A self-motivated, decisive approach to creative problem-solving.

Location & details#

• Locations: Atlanta, GA or New York, NY.
• Work Modality: Hybrid (in-office attendance required Tuesday through Thursday).
• Term: Summer 2026 (June 15 – August 14).
• Compensation: $18 per hour.
