About the role#
This is a summer internship based at our sawmill in DeQuincy, Louisiana. You will work on-site alongside experienced professionals to build practical skills in an industrial setting. This role is a full-time, paid position designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to modern sawmill operations.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Learn how industrial maintenance supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Contribute to projects focused on equipment reliability, process improvement, and operational performance.
- Work with maintenance and operations professionals to solve real-world challenges.
- Build technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related program.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with your team and other departments.
- Interest in hands-on work in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Location: DeQuincy, Louisiana.
- Term: Summer 2027 (4 to 8 month term).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Starting from $3,700 per month, plus a temporary living allowance for those moving to the area.
- Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
