About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Monticello, Arkansas. You will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. We are looking for students who are ready to move beyond the classroom and apply their knowledge to real-world projects in a sawmill environment.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Learn how industrial maintenance supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Contribute to projects focused on equipment reliability, process improvement, and operational performance.
- Work alongside experienced maintenance and operations professionals to solve real-world challenges.
- Build technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Gain exposure to modern sawmill operations.
What you'll need#
- You are working towards a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- You are committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with your team and other departments.
- You have an interest in hands-on work in an industrial setting.
- You are comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
