About the role#
Interfor is hiring a Maintenance Intern for our Perry, Georgia location. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience in a manufacturing environment. The role involves contributing to projects that impact equipment reliability and operational performance.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Learn how industrial maintenance supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Contribute to projects focused on equipment reliability, process improvement, and operational performance.
- Work alongside maintenance and operations professionals to solve real-world challenges.
- Build technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with your team and other departments.
- Interest in hands-on work in an industrial setting.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Location & details#
- Location: Perry, Georgia, United States.
- Term: Summer 2027. We prefer availability for a 4 to 8 month term.
- Compensation: Starting from $3,700 per month based on experience and year in school.
- Additional support: Temporary living allowance provided for those moving to the area.
