    About the role#

    This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work within a manufacturing operation. You will work with experienced professionals to learn how environmental, health, and safety practices support our people and operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Angeles, Washington, for the Summer 2027 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
    • Assist with inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and compliance activities.
    • Review and analyze safety or environmental data to identify trends.
    • Help develop or update procedures, training materials, and EHS documentation.
    • Contribute to project work by reviewing requirements, identifying gaps, and recommending practical solutions.
    • Collaborate with employees and leaders across the site.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Public Health.
    • A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
    • Comfort analyzing information and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Clear communication skills.
    • The ability to organize findings into practical documentation or recommendations.
    • A detail-oriented and curious mindset.
    • Willingness to work in both office and industrial environments.

    • Location: Port Angeles, WA.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Work Modality: On-site, full-time.
    • Compensation: Paid position.
