About the role#
Interco is hiring a Software Development Intern to join our team in St. Louis. You will contribute to our Enterprise Resource Planning projects by focusing on front-end development. This is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Convert Figma wireframes into responsive, interactive user interfaces.
- Write clean and maintainable code for web applications using React.
- Document your features, design choices, and implementation strategies.
- Work with team members to integrate APIs and align user experiences with company goals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a technical degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with front-end frameworks, specifically React.
- Exposure to design tools like Figma.
- A strong eye for design and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
- Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship.

Interco is a recycling company based in St. Louis, Missouri. Founded in 1996, the firm processes computers, batteries, metals, and electronics for government, industrial, and commercial clients. It operates multiple facilities across Missouri and Illinois, including a specialized lithium-ion battery recycling plant. The company employs between 51 and 200 people and manages international logistics for material transport.
