About the role#
As a Business Development Intern, you will support our team with internal and external partnerships. You will gain experience in the payments industry while assisting with day-to-day operations. This role involves analyzing data to help drive revenue and supporting the team with client-focused deliverables. You will also attend meetings, capture ideas, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Research and report on client issues, market data, and industry trends.
- Support the client team by preparing QBRs and sales presentations.
- Develop and maintain positive business relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Create custom solutions to address unique client needs.
- Track and resolve ad hoc research requests from partners.
- Coordinate key activities and initiatives across internal teams.
- Conduct special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a program related to Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to think creatively and propose new ideas.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Initiative to drive conversations and follow-ups.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a professional environment.
- Experience with Tableau, Qualtrics, or similar data tools is an asset.
- Previous experience in customer service, account management, or sales is an asset.
- Experience coordinating stakeholder groups is preferred.
