About the role#
The Inter-American Development Bank is seeking an undergraduate student for a paid internship during the Winter 2027 term. This position is based at our headquarters in Washington D.C. and provides an opportunity to gain professional experience in development work and corporate management.
What you'll do#
- Review operational reports within the Technical Cooperation Monitoring System (TCM) to ensure data quality.
- Provide guidance and support to operational teams regarding the use of the TCM.
- Perform data collection and analysis tasks.
- Verify project information for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist Fund Coordinators with the preparation of Annual and Semi-Annual donor reports.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active undergraduate student in Economics, Public Policy, or Business Administration.
- Your graduation date must occur after the internship period.
- You must have completed your second year of studies at the time of application.
- You must be a national of an IDB member country.
- Fluency in English is required, along with a working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese).
- You must not have family members currently working at the IDB or IDB Invest.
- This must be your first time participating in an IDB Group internship program.
