About the role#
We are looking for a motivated student to join our Quality team as a Project Management Co-op. You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of various quality initiatives. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to track deliverables and support continuous improvement across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning, scheduling, and coordination of quality projects.
- Monitor milestones, action items, risks, and deliverables to keep projects on track.
- Create status reports, meeting notes, and presentation materials.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making.
- Identify process gaps, track corrective actions, and follow up on open items.
- Document key decisions and maintain project files.
- Help develop and standardize project tools, templates, and workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Engineering, Quality, Project Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Eligibility to receive co-op credit.
- Interest in quality systems and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Planner, or Loop.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
- Exposure to quality standards, technical drawings, root cause analysis, and ERP or quality management systems is an asset.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles, data analysis, and ISO 9001 requirements is a plus.
