About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for students interested in civil engineering. You will join our team for a 12-week period to gain hands-on experience with real-world infrastructure projects. You will work directly with experienced staff who provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout your time here. The role is based in our office and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of engineering reports and studies, including Traffic Impact Analyses.
- Perform traffic volume development calculations using Excel.
- Use engineering software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation to develop exhibits and drawings.
- Prepare GIS maps for engineering reports and studies.
- Conduct research and gather data through site visits, surveys, and investigations.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, ideally as a Junior or Senior.
- Experience with traffic engineering software programs such as Synchro, HCS, or Vistro.
- A valid Driver's License and a safe driving record.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
