About the role#
This 12-week internship program is for a student pursuing a degree in Architecture. You will join our team in Tampa to gain hands-on experience in architectural design and project coordination for infrastructure, new buildings, and aviation projects. You will be paired with an experienced mentor and report to a Professional Engineer who will provide guidance and feedback throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Create conceptual designs, 3D models, and renderings.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design integration.
- Prepare and organize construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and support the review of design changes.
- Conduct research on emerging materials, technologies, and architectural trends.
- Evaluate design options to optimize project performance and functionality.
- Visit construction sites to observe processes, document progress, and assist with quality control.
- Work with project teams to resolve design issues.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Familiarity with building codes, construction techniques, and design principles.
- Strong visual and spatial awareness with graphic and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines.
- US Resident or Green Card status.
- Prior internship or relevant work experience is preferred.

- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks, May through August).
- Work Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday.
