About the role#
Indorama Ventures: Indovinya is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2025. This program provides hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. You will work under the supervision of experienced engineers within either Project Engineering or Reliability Engineering. The internship requires a 10-week commitment from May to August.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to your assigned area.
- Assist engineers with daily tasks and project assignments.
- Keep your mentor updated on project progress.
- Ensure all work complies with the company integrated management system, including safety and environmental standards.
- Participate in company training programs and safety initiatives.
- Work with diverse team members to help achieve company goals.
- Present your project assignments to the Site Leadership Team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited four-year university.
- Junior or Senior status by the end of Spring 2025, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs, email, and internet use.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems and research difficult information.
- Knowledge of basic chemical plant manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with process simulation programs is preferred.
