About the role#
Indovinya is seeking an Environmental Intern for a 10-week summer program in Port Neches, Texas. This full-time, on-site role is designed for students to gain practical experience within our chemical manufacturing operations. You will work alongside our Environmental and Health and Safety teams to support site compliance and regulatory tasks.
What you'll do#
- Manage data entry across various internal databases.
- Assist with regulatory tasks related to site water and waste systems.
- Review environmental events to ensure accurate data collection.
- Attend project meetings and provide status updates to the team.
- Participate in company-wide Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives.
- Complete all required safety and corporate training programs.
- Present a final report on your investigations and project assignments to the Site Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with team members across different departments to support site goals.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing in a Bachelor of Science program for Environmental Science or Chemical Engineering by the end of Spring 2025.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain or possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs, email, and internet research.
- Understanding of basic principles used in chemical plant manufacturing.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex information and build professional relationships.
- Commitment to the full 10-week summer program.
