Co-op Student, IT

About the role#

The IT Service Delivery team at iGaming Ontario provides reliable, secure, and user-focused technology services across the organization. As a Co-op Student, you will gain hands-on experience in endpoint support, infrastructure operations, and service desk functions while contributing to the technology that keeps the organization running effectively.

What you'll do#

• Provide first-level desktop support for incidents and service requests, including troubleshooting Windows 11 and macOS issues.
• Support device provisioning and lifecycle activities using cloud-based management tools.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications and account/access issues.
• Troubleshoot meeting room technology, including AV equipment and conferencing systems.
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge base articles and process improvements.
• Track, update, and resolve tickets in the IT service management system.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a college or university program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 11 and/or macOS operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support non-technical users.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools is considered an asset.
• Interest in cybersecurity and IT service management is considered an asset.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time post-secondary student in a co-operative education program.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

• Term: Fall 2026
• Location: North York, Ontario
• Modality: On-site (5 days a week)
• Compensation: $23.00 per hour
• Requirements: Must be living in Ontario during the term and be able to provide a resume, cover letter, most recent GPA transcript, and proof of enrollment for the September 2026 and/or 2027 school year.
