Co-op Student, Finance

About the role#

iGaming Ontario is seeking a Co-op Student for the Finance team to support daily operations and ongoing financial projects. This role offers exposure to financial planning, reporting, and analysis within a government agency environment. You will work directly with the team to manage accounting processes and contribute to efficiency initiatives.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the implementation of the new expense and reimbursement system, including system testing and data migration.
• Support month-end closing activities and daily accounting functions.
• Reconcile expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows.
• Provide support for ad hoc finance tasks and projects as needed.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a post-secondary co-op program with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Location & details#

• Term: Fall 2026.
• Location: North York, Ontario.
• Modality: This is an on-site position requiring attendance at the office 5 days per week.
• Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
• Status: Full-time co-op student position; candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
