Co-op Student, Agency Compliance

About the role#

The Agency Compliance team at iGaming Ontario is responsible for delivering a centralized compliance program. This team works to promote accountability, manage compliance risks, and support effective governance through research, policy analysis, and program administration. As a co-op student, you will support these efforts to ensure the agency meets its obligations while maintaining transparency and operational excellence.

What you'll do#

• Monitor legislative, regulatory, policy, and directive changes to support operational updates.
• Analyze and interpret government legislation and policies within a compliance context.
• Conduct research, including environmental scans of compliance frameworks, industry models, and best practices.
• Maintain and update compliance tools, including calendars, control libraries, and document repositories.
• Prepare written materials such as process documentation, dashboards, reports, and briefing presentations.
• Provide general administrative and project support to the Agency Compliance team.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary co-operative education program in fields such as Public Health, Political Science, Business Administration, or Health Administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Term: Fall 2026.
• Location: North York, Ontario.
• Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 5 days a week in the office.
• Compensation: This position is paid at $23.00 per hour.
