About the role#
This co-op position provides exposure to a broad range of human resources functions within a professional environment. You will support the HR team across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and employee engagement.
What you'll do#
- Support the HR team with various administrative and operational tasks.
- Review and process learning and development approval requests and maintain records of these activities.
- Update and maintain information on the Joint Health and Safety Committee notice board and participate in monthly inspections.
- Coordinate recruitment by scheduling interviews, sending candidate assessments, and preparing interview packages.
- Prepare and issue employment and change letters and submit IT tickets for employee changes.
- Assist with data entry and the maintenance of employee records in the HRIS.
- Support the planning and execution of employee town halls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary co-op program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass a criminal background check.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Location: North York, Ontario.
- Work Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
- Required documentation: Resume, copy of most recent GPA transcript, and proof of enrollment for the September 2026 or 2027 school year.
