About the role#
iDE is looking for a Fund Development Intern to support our team in Denver, Colorado. You will assist with prospect research, data management, and donor engagement efforts. This position offers a view into how an international development organization secures funding and manages donor relationships. You will work 10 hours per week for a term of 3 to 6 months, with the potential to extend. This is an unpaid internship.
What you'll do#
- Research current and potential donors by vetting and sharing information with staff.
- Manage data and organize records within Salesforce.
- Research, prospect, and evaluate conferences.
- Attend and present at weekly strategy sessions to support fundraising outreach.
- Provide support for fundraising programs, including Corporate Partnerships and Legacy initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills.
- Experience conducting internet research.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to multitask.
