About the role#
As a Technical Sales Engineer Intern, you will work with clients and technical experts to design and deliver solutions. This role focuses on AI, hybrid cloud, automation, data, and security. You will combine technical problem-solving with business consulting to help organizations achieve measurable outcomes. This internship provides a foundation for a career in technical sales.
What you'll do#
- Join client discovery sessions to identify business objectives and technical requirements.
- Design and validate technical solutions that address specific customer challenges.
- Build and deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept, workshops, and technical presentations.
- Explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Help clients define use cases and remove technical barriers to support solution adoption.
- Collaborate with sales, technical specialists, and partners to progress opportunities.
- Contribute technical best practices and reusable assets to support client success.
- Present findings and solution recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Expected Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge in cloud computing, software development, AI, automation, data, or cybersecurity.
- Practical experience with at least one programming language like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for prototyping or troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Leadership experience from student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or competitions.
