About the role#
You will join the IBM Z Ecosystem team to support clients, business partners, and internal teams. This role provides exposure to enterprise-class systems, modern automation, and hybrid cloud environments. You will work on hands-on engagements involving IBM Z and LinuxONE technology, offering guidance and technical demonstrations to help organizations use these systems effectively.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to capacity and performance studies for IBM Z and LinuxONE.
- Assist with infrastructure design, deployment, and readiness activities for networking and storage environments.
- Design and build assets for partners and clients, such as presentations, demos, workshops, and labs.
- Coordinate event materials and speaker preparation while tracking attendance and engagement.
- Provide scheduling and follow-up support for Z Skills program workstreams.
- Build relationships with assigned independent software vendors.
- Develop and execute joint business, success, and go-to-market plans aligned with IBM Z and LinuxONE objectives.
- Conduct meetings to understand partner priorities, challenges, and growth plans.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of IBM Z and LinuxONE, operating systems, networking, or databases.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks, agile development, cloud, and containerization.
- Experience or skills in data science, AI tools, and program reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a self-starter in a flexible environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous customer service or project management experience is helpful.
