About the role#
As an Intern Data Engineer, you will join the AI, Analytics, Automation, and Data Services practice. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help clients solve business and technology challenges. This role focuses on modernizing data platforms, building scalable pipelines, and developing solutions that improve business performance. You will gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, enterprise data architectures, and AI technologies.
What you'll do#
- Support data engineering and AI initiatives that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Assist team members with designing, building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and integration processes.
- Contribute to data preparation, transformation, validation, and quality activities.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and generate insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics and AI solutions.
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
- Interest in data engineering, AI, automation, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts with exposure to Python, SQL, or Java.
- Foundational knowledge of databases, data structures, and how data supports business decisions.
- Exposure to data preparation, visualization, or business problem-solving through coursework or projects.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts, machine learning workflows, or modern data architectures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
