About the role#
As an Intern Data Engineer, you will join the AI, Analytics, Automation, and Data Services practice. You will work alongside experienced professionals to solve business and technology challenges for clients. This internship provides hands-on experience in modernizing data platforms, building scalable pipelines, and developing AI-driven solutions. You will gain exposure to enterprise data architectures and analytics while preparing for a potential future career in consulting.
What you'll do#
- Support data engineering services and AI initiatives to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist with the design, build, test, and maintenance of data pipelines, integration processes, and modern data platforms.
- Contribute to data preparation, transformation, validation, and quality tasks for analytics and automation.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and generate business insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining exposure to cloud platforms and enterprise architectures.
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and experience with Python, SQL, Java, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with databases, data structures, ETL/ELT concepts, and data visualization tools.
- Exposure to data engineering, analytics, automation, or cloud technologies through coursework, academic projects, research, or hackathons.
- Awareness of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
