About the role#
As an Intern Data Engineer, you will join the AI, Analytics, Automation, and Data Services practice. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help clients solve business and technology challenges. This role provides hands-on experience in transforming data into insights and building enterprise technology solutions. You will contribute to projects across various industries, including healthcare, finance, retail, and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Support data engineering services and AI initiatives to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the design, build, test, and maintenance of data pipelines, integration processes, and modern data platforms.
- Perform data preparation, transformation, validation, and quality activities.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and generate insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Assist with the validation and support of data engineering and analytics solutions.
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and experience with languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
- Familiarity with databases, data structures, data processing, and how data supports decision-making.
- Exposure to data preparation, visualization, or business problem-solving through academic projects, hackathons, research, or student organizations.
- Awareness of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Interest in continuous learning and data-driven consulting.
