About the role#
This internship offers the chance to work on real client projects within the Infrastructure and Technology department. You will work alongside experienced team members to build your technical expertise and consulting skills. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience across the full product delivery life cycle.
What you'll do#
- Join cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and understand project requirements.
- Document design decisions and technical specifications to ensure clear communication.
- Develop scalable, reusable code and participate in code review processes.
- Engage in full-stack, cloud-native development.
- Use design thinking to create products that focus on performance, security, and user experience.
- Contribute to the entire product delivery life cycle.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program. Relevant fields include Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, or Data Science.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively through active listening.
- A growth mindset with the initiative to seek new knowledge and adapt to new challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a readiness to take ownership of tasks.
- Exposure to at least one of these technologies: Java, C++, Python, Scala, R, SAS, SQL, HTML, SPSS, VBA, or Tableau.
- Knowledge or interest in database development, cloud platforms, web services, and API frameworks.
- Familiarity with design patterns, performance tuning, and automated or unit testing.
- Exposure to SQL/PLSQL, integration patterns, data migration, and data visualization tools.
- Experience using AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT to assist with research and productivity.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to July).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
