About the role#
As an IBM Quantum Sales Intern, you will gain exposure to enterprise sales, business development, and client engagement. You will learn how emerging technologies are brought to market through strategic partnerships and client interactions. This role involves supporting the identification, advancement, and execution of new quantum computing opportunities. You will work alongside sales and business leaders to help organizations understand and adopt quantum computing solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support business development through account research, stakeholder identification, and client outreach.
- Develop industry-specific presentations, executive briefings, and sales materials.
- Coordinate client meetings, workshops, and events.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities for quantum computing adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and client teams, to support sales opportunities.
- Assist in preparing proposals, pricing materials, and contracts.
- Create and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and pipeline analytics.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
- Support partnership development and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Confidence engaging with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to combine technical aptitude with business acumen.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and industry trends.
- Interest in quantum computing and enterprise sales.
- Experience with presentations, public speaking, or leadership activities.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, or business analytics.
- Knowledge of quantum computing concepts, IBM Quantum technologies, and Qiskit.
