About the role#
IBM is hiring for the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) Summer Intern role. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work within our finance organization, which manages financial strategy and business models across our global operations. Interns who perform well may be considered for full-time positions in the program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Take on complex and visible projects within our business units or corporate functions.
- Perform tasks across various areas including accounting, financial planning, pricing, audit, business controls, tax, treasury, business development, and global financing.
- Interact with and learn directly from senior management.
- Apply your business judgment, leadership, creativity, and decision-making skills to support financial operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA degree program at an accredited college.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with statistical and quantitative analysis, predictive models, and the use of AI.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Ability to work in the United States without current or future need for sponsorship.
