About the role#
This internship is part of the Entry Level Sales Program. You will work at the intersection of technology, people, and process to help clients adapt their business strategies. You will act as a guide to help clients define their future state and implement the solutions to reach it.
What you'll do#
- Assist with cloud migration and system application implementation or upgrades.
- Run or support workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews.
- Document requirements from product owners and business leads.
- Develop process maps to understand current and future operational scenarios.
- Translate client requirements into analytical specifications for IBM solutions.
- Project the business value of solutions and drive the adoption of key performance indicators.
- Develop communications tailored to specific audiences.
- Work in Agile, collaborative environments.
- Use Design Thinking to solve client challenges.
- Analyze data to support conclusions and design organization strategies.
What you'll need#
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- Basic understanding of Hybrid Cloud Strategies, AI, Networks, and DevOps.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, C++, C#, dot.net, or HTML.
- SQL skills, including an understanding of data structures and extract/transform/load processes.
- Data analysis skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous internship or work experience in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to adapt to new tasks.
- Initiative to seek new knowledge and improve skills.
