About the role#
As a Corporate Strategy Summer Consultant, you will influence the strategic direction of IBM by working directly with the C-Suite and Business Unit leaders. This role involves turning complex business problems into structured, actionable solutions. You will work within a hybrid environment to support the company's decision-making processes.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Business Unit leaders to define hypotheses, test assumptions, and identify desired business outcomes.
- Build relationships with internal teams to gather information and diverse perspectives.
- Conduct research to develop insights on clients, market trends, and competitors.
- Translate complex challenges into clear, structured approaches.
- Create presentations that synthesize your findings and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Lead discussions to communicate your analysis to executives.
- Work alongside client teams to implement and manage practical solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master of Business Administration program.
- A Bachelor’s degree with one year or less of relevant experience.
- A Master’s degree in Business or Management with two years of experience in business strategy and problem-solving.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
