About the role#
This internship is a full-time position for Summer 2027 based in Poughkeepsie, New York. You will join the Infrastructure and Technology department to help design and build large-scale systems.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain client-server architectures, networking protocols, and databases.
- Create and configure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS applications.
- Develop clean and functional APIs.
- Design and code server applications, firmware, and databases to meet specific architecture goals.
- Implement large-scale systems that support continuous delivery in both cloud and on-premises environments.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience with C++, C, Java, Golang, Ruby, Python, Perl, or SQL.
- 1 year of experience working with APIs.
- Experience with JSON and Web Services.
- Understanding of software development concepts, including Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of operating systems, container technologies, virtualization, and cloud operations.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
