About the role#
As a Marketing Intern at HumanSignal, you will join a small team where you will gain exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines. This role offers autonomy and ownership over projects, allowing you to explore areas such as content, events, demand generation, and community management. You will work with AI tools at every step to draft, research, edit, and automate workflows.
What you'll do#
- Manage the editorial calendar and publish content across the blog and social media channels.
- Edit videos and create graphics for product launches, tutorials, and social media.
- Coordinate logistics for conferences, meetups, and webinars, including scheduling and material preparation.
- Support marketing and recruiting campaigns by staging emails and managing landing pages.
- Engage with the social and open source community by monitoring relevant conversations.
- Track the performance of content and campaigns to identify successful strategies.
- Manage the swag program by tracking inventory and coordinating shipments to customers and community members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to build and improve workflows.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce polished work.
- Proven ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Prior marketing experience through coursework, previous internships, or personal projects.
- Video editing and media creation skills are highly preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a remote role based in the United States.
- The position is part-time, requiring 15 to 25 hours per week.
- The role is paid at a rate of $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
- This is a rolling internship term.
