About the role#
The Social Media Intern will support our efforts to attract and engage creators within the Statusphere network. This role involves developing content, managing community interactions, and assisting with creator acquisition strategies. This is a paid, part-time position available on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm and execute content ideas designed to attract creators to the platform.
- Create static and video assets to provide value to creators and support acquisition goals.
- Engage organically with creators on social media to drive community activity and retention.
- Assist in sourcing high-fit creators for specific campaigns.
- Draft captions for scheduled content, incorporating SEO keywords while maintaining brand voice.
- Support the creation of monthly social reports and performance analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a focus on Communications, Marketing, Public Health, Graphic Design, Journalism, Media Studies, or Art.
- Demonstrated experience with social media content creation, whether through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with TikTok and Instagram.
- Proficiency in CapCut or similar video editing software.
- Experience creating designs in Canva or similar tools.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- Candidates are expected to work two days per week, up to a maximum of 20 hours weekly.
- Compensation is $17–$20 per hour.
- While the role is remote, priority is given to candidates located in FL, GA, MI, NJ, NY, PA, TN, TX, WI, IL, SC, CA, and CO.
