About the role#
This internship focuses on language translation and data analysis within the gaming, anime, and manga sectors. You will work in Los Angeles to bridge communication gaps and provide data-driven insights that support content localization and cultural adaptation projects.
What you'll do#
- Translate content between Chinese, Japanese, and English with a focus on gaming, anime, and manga.
- Collect, process, and visualize data using analytical tools to generate actionable insights.
- Analyze current trends and audience preferences within the gaming and anime communities.
- Support the team with cultural adaptation projects and collaborative pop culture initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Chinese, Japanese, and English (reading, writing, and speaking) is preferred.
- A genuine passion for gaming, anime, and animation.
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology related to gaming and manga.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel or SQL is preferred.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
- Academic background in Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or Data Science.

- Compensation: The base pay range is $24.81 to $42.70 per hour, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Benefits: This position includes paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked), up to 13 paid holidays, and eligibility for the company-sponsored medical plan for full-time interns.
