About the role#
This internship provides corporate experience within our engineering team. You will focus on station engineering design projects while learning the fundamentals of physical design, engineering calculations, and system modeling. This is a 10 to 12-week program running from May to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support station engineering design projects and perform engineering calculations.
- Use tools such as Excel, Bluebeam, and WinIGS to develop and review drawings.
- Mark up, submit, and back-check design documents for accuracy and quality.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Build relationships with colleagues and learn about different parts of the business.
- Assist with process improvement and contribute to value-added projects.
- Gain experience in planning, organizational skills, and industry knowledge.
- Present your work to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the program period.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship with hourly rates ranging from $22.50 to $29.00 depending on academic standing and expected graduation date.
