About the role#
This is a 10 to 12-week summer internship program based in Manchester, New Hampshire. You will support new product development, including work on connector offerings. You will partner with product managers and engineers to address customer needs and complaints. The program includes plant visits and training on the utility industry, AI, and the power utility value chain. At the end of the program, you will present your work to the local management team.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to on-the-job tasks.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Assist with process improvement.
- Build relationships across different parts of the business.
- Develop technical skills relevant to your major.
- Support co-workers and collaborate in team settings.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Preferred: Experience with coding, CAD, 3D printing, or robotics.
- Preferred: Familiarity with power systems, utilities, electrical engineering, or physics.
- Preferred: Interest in innovation, grid modernization, and sustainability.

- Compensation: $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, depending on academic standing and graduation date.
