About the role#
This internship provides corporate experience within the Hubbell Internship Program. You will focus on the AO2 design system by rebuilding, organizing, and documenting UI components. The goal is to improve consistency, usability, and scalability across our design efforts.
What you'll do#
- Apply design systems principles and atomic design methodology to your work.
- Contribute to Design Operations by supporting workflows, governance, and documentation.
- Collaborate with designers to establish and maintain component standards.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
- Present your project outcomes to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Computer Science.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and design systems.

- Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, depending on academic standing and graduation date.
