    About the role#

    This internship provides an opportunity to build a comprehensive ergonomics program within our manufacturing environment. You will work alongside EHS and Operations teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate ergonomic risks across various job tasks. The goal is to establish a sustainable framework that improves workplace safety and supports continuous improvement.

    What you'll do#

    • Integrate ergonomic assessments into existing Job Safety Analyses and Risk Assessments.
    • Establish standardized evaluation methods for workplace tasks.
    • Create processes to track corrective actions and measure their effectiveness.
    • Analyze safety trends and recommend specific improvements.
    • Manage multiple overlapping projects independently.
    • Present your findings and program progress to the local management team at the end of the summer.
    • Assist with general process improvement initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the program (May to August 2027).
    • Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Public Health, Kinesiology, or a related field.
    • A minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Familiarity with relevant software systems.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.

    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time internship.
    • Compensation: $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, based on academic standing and expected graduation date.
