About the role#
This Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op position offers students a chance to gain corporate experience during the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Leeds, Alabama, applying classroom knowledge to real projects while building professional relationships across the business.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic knowledge to practical, value-added projects.
- Assist with process improvement and manage multiple overlapping tasks.
- Work both in teams and independently with minimal supervision.
- Develop technical skills specific to your major.
- Build planning and organizational skills through challenging assignments.
- Present your work to the local management team at the end of the program.
- Support co-workers and learn about the industry.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
