About the role#
This internship provides students with corporate experience and hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations. You will work on-site in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, during the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assess critical assembly areas to improve manufacturing process readiness, safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
- Document current-state processes and map assembly workflows.
- Evaluate tooling, fixturing, work instructions, and operator resources.
- Develop a prioritized gap analysis.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production teams to recommend standard work improvements.
- Present project findings to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period (May-August 2027).
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and SolidWorks is preferred.
